TORONTO - The Beau's Beer Hack defeated the Humiliation 4-3 this past Friday night to claim their first win of the spring season, while the Jokers doubled up on the Gas Station Islanders 6-3 to maintain their hold on 1st place overall in the UUHA standings. Meanwhile, Saturday night's final Upper Canada College action of the abridged campaign saw a short-benched Wheatfield Souldiers side manage an unlikely 7-3 victory over the Brockton Rockets despite playing the entire game with just five skaters and a goaltender. Goaltender Marc Hickox turned in an above average performance for the Souldiers, turning aside 15 of 18 shots en route to the win. The Souldiers tested Rockets goalie Joe Steinman on 22 occasions, making good on seven of them. Four of those tallies came off the stick of veteran Souldiers forward Eric Toth, while Kyle Welton (2) and Wes Gerbrandt also tallied for Burton's Boys. Dustin Harris finished the game with two goals and an assist, Oliver Sutherns set up a couple tallies, including one by Bryan Eelhart.
